Can I rent a horse to ride alone without a lesson?
No. We do not rent or lease our horses.
What ages do you teach?
We accept all riders above 7 years old! We've found that riders younger than 7 tend to not have the attention span required for an hour long lesson.
How much do lessons cost?
Costs are subject to change. Our current rates vary between $45-$60 per lesson.
What if I can't afford a lesson every week?
We are happy to provide lessons every other week. However, due to scheduling constraints, we cannot accommodate anything less frequent than twice a month.
Can I just pay for one lesson at a time?
In order to avoid last minute cancellations and ensure a consistent schedule, we invoice and book lessons by the calendar month.
Cancellation and Payment Policies
Invoicing Cycle
We offer pre-paid packages of 1-6 lessons for one calendar month (Nov, Dec, Jan etc. not 30 days)
Invoices will be sent out on the 1st and due on the 15th of each month. If that month's lessons are not paid for by the
15th, we have the right to refuse service. Clients are responsible for reaching out for any payment difficulty or requests for
accommodations.
Checks and cash are still acceptable if online invoicing is problematic.
Cancellation/Makeup Policy
No call/No show= No Makeup lesson
If a lesson is after 12pm, clients must contact via email or text to cancel by 9am the day of.
If a lesson is before 12pm, clients must contact via email or text to cancel by 9pm the day before.
Those who contact us to cancel with appropriate notice, can schedule a makeup lesson within the calendar month.
Makeups not scheduled within the calendar month do NOT roll over and are not refundable.
If a lesson is cancelled by the instructor (due to weather, illness, etc.), a makeup lesson will be offered within the
calendar month. If a makeup lesson is unable to be booked within the month, we will honor it in the following month.
If a makeup lesson is not booked within the month the original lesson would take place, or the following month, it
will not roll over into the next month (maximum 60 day makeup window).
